EDUCATIONAL UNITS
 

Parents can choose from a half day or an all-day option. Directions for signing up for classes are included on the schedule, and EUs are withdrawn - 200 EUs per half day, 150 EUs for math tutoring, or 375 EUs for the all-day option.

TEMECULA LEARNING CENTER TK-8

The Temecula Learning Center Program gives TK-8 home study students living in driving distance to Temecula an opportunity to attend academy classes once a week. Classes are enriching, hands-on and activity based. This enrichment program provides students a place to interact socially and academically with other home study students.  Throughout the day, students engage in various reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art and P.E. activities that coincide with skills they are learning in their regular home study.

Online Writing Class

Mondays:  9:30 - 10:30  (200 EUs per semester)

Online Writing - 3rd thru 5th Grade (Class full at 12)  Melissa Webb (mwebb@juliancharterschool.org)

OBJECTIVE:  Learning and practicing various writing styles,  brainstorming techniques, outlining options, rough draft writing, revision skills, editing tools, and publishing final products.  

 

Mondays 11:00 - 12:00 (200 EUs per semester)

Online Writing - 6th - 8th (Class full at 12) Melissa Webb (mwebb@juliancharterschool.org)

OBJECTIVE:  Through the use of fictional and nonfictional literature and reading assignments, students will be learning and practicing various writing styles,  brainstorming techniques, outlining options, rough draft writing, revision skills, editing tools, and publishing final products in MLA format.
